Join Mel for a class like no other. Womb yoga fuses together movement, breathwork, yoga nidra and chakra healing practices to support each woman on her personal journey. Although this is a woman-only class, you don’t need to have a womb to do this practice as we are connecting with the deep feminine, the essence of prana shakti, which pervades all aspects of our being.
Womb yoga can support us through menstruation, fertility, pregnancy and menopause, as well as well being a resource for nourishment, creativity and spiritual connection. Although the movements may seem gentle, they are incredibly powerful. Through the practices of womb yoga we welcome in prana shakti, the chaotic, wild and colourful energy which can energise, empower and unite us.
With this sense of empowerment, we look to create a sense of community amongst the women who join. So often women are set up against one another, to compete and judge, and ultimately fail at the unrealistic and fake beauty standards set to us by an industry which makes millions each year from our belief that we are not enough. Womb yoga helps us to realise that not only are we enough, but that we are more than enough.
