My yoga journey started 20 years ago in USA when I sustained a back injury. After experiencing such amazing changes in my body, I was hooked. I became an avid practitioner and then 11 years ago I began to teach. Since then my practice has taken many shapes and forms, riding the waves of my ever changing body and lifestyle. In these times we live in I acknowledge our need for the deep nurturing of our bodies because I feel this in myself. The time is now to embody all the teachings that help to lead us as women and men to a place of deeper wisdom of ourselves, each other, our children and our planet. The balance between yoga, dance and stillness is my way of doing this and I love to share what I have discovered and continue to discover in this yogic dance of life. I have studied with many wonderful teachers throughout my yoga life, the late Pattabhi Jois to name one, but in more recent times I've had the pleasure of spending time with Donna Farhi, Josh Summers and Uma Dinsmore-Tuli. I have also danced many different traditions of Dance like Tribal African, Belly-dance, contemporary movement, Tahitian hula and free movement. I teach regular weekly classes in Kinsale & Cork city Ireland. There are a range of classes from Pregnancy, Momma & baby, Well woman yoga, Yoga for You.
