It will be a friendly, welcoming, challenging and hugely delightful fun evening and will include a Total Yoga Nidra.
Uma will explore the ancient roots of the yoginis in this fascinating, radical history of remarkable women in yoga – ancient and modern. Listeners will discover how the practices of hatha yoga - invented by men, for men – have their roots in some powerful feminine sources. She will explore how this forgotten history of women in yoga is not being transmitted to the millions of women who practice yoga now.
All levels of yoga practitioner are welcome from beginner to advanced.
